Rome and Amalfi Coast, Italia you are amazing....

I’m staying here in front on my computer working on this blog post, admiring these images again and I feel that another dream came true…The dream to visit Italy has finally become a reality and shortly after, a memory…

A memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life… I realized now more than ever that the impact that traveling has on me, it’s hard to compare with anything else…

Towards the end of a full wedding season, a September end of the month, the need of this vacation came exactly like the tomato sauce compliments pizza …hahaha ;-) Let’s put it short, it was a MUST!

The excitement was way too big, I was about to travel again, overseas, to a country that I knew it is beautiful, but my oh my, it’s a lot more than that, I was about to see my parents that came in Rome for a few days and as a surprise, my life long friend came from London to see me…

Rome it’s full of history as we all know, crowded just enough, scented in flavors of cappuccinos and a little gelato shop at every corner, just enough to make sure not to get you too overwhelmed.

Its little streets captivated my attention this whole time, shops that offer custom leather shoes and purses and belts and pizzerias and hearing their beautiful language all over, a language that I still consider to this day it is one of the most romantic languages of them all.

Colosseum is impressive, so is Vatican, so is Trevi Fountain, so I had to make sure I throw a coin in that fountain, so I can return there…hopefully sometimes soon!

Shortly after Rome, came Amalfi Coast, crossed from Maiori to Positano, to Amalfi, to Ravello, all the way to Capri…

Limoncello, pizza, the freshest seafood, cappuccinos, gelato, and I have to tell you the best tiramisu you find in Ravello…It took hard work to tasted a few of them a day in order to realize that!

Italian music, the Theranian Sea, beautiful sailboats, Capri Island, “motorini” rides, hiking and of course more gelato…

Thank you, Italia and CIAO as for now…

I’ll stop here and let the story unfold with the help of my photography. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them and creating these beautiful memories of another month in the calendar of 2016!

Happy OCTOBER everyone, stay happy and keep on traveling!
