Katie and Gabriel were such a fun couple to not only photograph, but to be around as well.
From our first client meeting over at our photography studio, we knew we were in for quite a celebration when it came to photographing their beautiful wedding day.
We had the chance to shoot their engagement session over at Garfield Conservatory, please see the beautiful images here, days before we welcomed our daughter Matilda into this world, early January of 2019!
Months past by and as we were getting ready to capture their wedding day that was an intimate celebration, filled with love and cheer, close to their immediate family and friends and that we couldn’t wait to be a part of!
We had the opportunity to be working with amazing vendors, starting with the charming loft The Hive on Hubbard, The Robey, a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Wicker Park, where the bride and her bridesmaids got ready, their catering company, Cristina with The Caterist, florals provided by Flowers for dreams, Alliance bakery and Stan Donuts responsible for the delicious cake and the beautifully decorated donut wall and last but not least, the amazing entertainment provided by their Funktastic Band.
Throughout the whole day, we are happy to have had an amazing weather, with just a few rain drops here and there, that gave us the chance to take our umbrellas out and create some beautiful portraits, and also capturing rooftop portraits from The Robey to The Hive, nature poses and breathtaking Chicago skyline images from our forever most loved location, Lincoln Park.
Katie and Gabriel, congratulations on your special day and thank you. Wish we could get together again, soon and hear all about Positano and Capri and Nice and how amazing your honeymoon must have been!
